Dogs very well on a vegetarian diet, provided they are well balanced. Enjoy many of the benefits that we veg as human beings when we can enjoy. Recipe of nature is a vegetarian formula for dogs. I do not know if she's a vegetarian, but I think it is. The following link is a page of my favorite online store vegan animal products. Now the cat is a different story. They need nutrients, and it is difficult to change and, in my humble opinion, is probably not a good idea. You really know what you are doing.

Search Yahoo or Google Linda McCartney vegetarian has written an article on dogs and cats (I do not know, vegan). But do not try to change their pets on a vegetarian or vegan, not 100% sure that you everything you need. I have a dog, Jack Russell, not a vegetarian, but I personally would not even if I am a vegetarian I am.
